Airline pilots and dating
Being away so regularly is tough on relationships, not only for the pilots, but the ones that they leave behind.
Full-time airline pilots work anywhere from three to six nights a week.
I alway thought there could be two sides to it: The first is that with being away from home alot, that it'll be somewhat difficult to have a really active social life.
On the flip side, airline piloting itself gives you the opportunity to meet lots of people (other pilots, flight attendants, gate agents, passengers, etc.).
My twin brother was in the (ch)Air Force as a weather guesser. "This violent incident should never have happened and was a result of gross excessive force by Chicago Department of Aviation personnel the union been dating for 4 months said.
Another pilot in the pattern calls over the radio saying guys, did you see each other?
"You're away for half the month," he says, "then you come home, and it's tough to get that time back." Ewert, 37, started his flying career in Fort Mc Murray.
The reason I am asking this is because on another site I read over some womends profiles and there were atleats 4 that have mentiooned that they don't like Pilots because they seem to have an arrogant way about them and they may have an elevated sense of themselves based on what they said. the only thing I can think why women might tend to shy away would be the worry every time he flies.. My very first real crush was on a pilot....memories. He's handsome and sweet and funny, not at all arrogant. I wouldn't pick a man to date just because of his occupation.. It saddens me that people stereotype people based on their jobs! The polits that I met seemed like cool guys, i mean they have to act professional and keep their cool, maybe thats how some people get mistaken and think that they are arrogant ot conseted when INFACT they are just keeping their cool and being professional. Personal flying is lots of fun and I would enjoy meeting someone who also likes small aircraft. I would be thrilled to meet another fellow like my friend was, regardless of his occupation!Day trips to Block Island, the Vineyard, Nantucket and other points around the Northeast are fun. They brag about how much money they make and seem very full of themselves.
